ESSEX GARDEN FOODS

OUR JOURNEY BEGAN...

...in Chelmsford five years ago when my passion for great food gave birth to the company.

As a former landscape architect, I wanted to incorporate the beauty of the Essex countryside and the Essex tradition of gardening when creating our products and so these inspired both the branding and the selection of ingredients, leading to the creation of a ‘Proper Classic’ collection of speciality mayonnaise that is packed with vegetables and unique flavour while also being low in sugar and made to the highest quality.

Our mayonnaise is very versatile and is available in three unique flavours:

Golden Turmeric and Zesty Ginger, Punchy Garlic and Black Pepper, and Gently Spiced with Scotch Bonnet Chilli.

All flavours are now available in over 130 locations and my goal is to expand even further. We have started working with selected wholesalers and online stores, such as Amazon and BoroughBox, which deliver our products nationwide, but we would like to begin exporting to other countries.

DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE GOALS...

I am passionate about my products and am constantly looking for ways to improve every aspect of them. Next, I hope to expand our range in the near future by launching new and exciting condiments to satisfy the palates of even the fussiest consumers.

Essex Garden Foods is a member of ‘A Taste of Anglia’, the organisation that supports and promotes the food and drink industry across the country.

Dear all,

We regret to announce that due to the current economic situation and unprecedented price increases over the last two years, we have made the difficult decision to take a break from running our business. Therefore, unfortunately, our products will not be available. Once again, we would like to thank everyone who supported us over the last four years and we hope to come back on the market when things get better.

Yours sincerely,
